Cunningham Power Systems & Controls provides drafting, documentation, and industrial controls support to manufacturers, systems integrators, and design firms across Connecticut — hands-on technical help, on the schedule your project actually runs on.
Focused, practical support across the two areas we know best — industrial controls, and power system documentation. Take one piece or all of it.
Keep production moving. Control panel layouts and documentation, automation and PLC support, machine-control troubleshooting, and retrofit assistance for existing lines and equipment.
Clean, accurate drawing production to your standards — single-line diagrams, load and panel schedules, cable and conduit schedules — prepared and organized for a licensed Professional Engineer's review and seal.
Grounded input for your planning decisions. Backup power and battery-storage feasibility, equipment specification, and project scoping — drawn from seven years across renewables, energy storage, and industrial power.
On the ground when it counts. Installation and commissioning support, on-site troubleshooting, and accurate as-built documentation once the work is in place.
Cunningham Power Systems & Controls is led by Matt Cunningham, an electrical engineer with seven years of experience spanning renewables, battery energy storage, and industrial power and controls. We started the firm to give Connecticut's manufacturers, integrators, and design firms a responsive, no-overhead way to get real technical work done — the drafting, the controls support, the feasibility legwork — without waiting in a queue behind a big firm's larger accounts.
You deal with us directly. When a job needs more hands or a licensed seal, we bring in the right people and stay accountable for the result. Based on the shoreline in Guilford, and close enough to be on your floor the same day.
Tell us what you're working on. We'll tell you honestly whether we're the right fit — and if we're not, we'll usually know who is.
